Guidance for abstracts

• Clearly indicate the focus and context of the study or initiative.
• Outline the theoretical and/or methodological approach.
• Describe key findings, insights, or questions relevant to transformative education and sustainability.
• Explain the contribution to praxis, policy, or critical scholarship.

Review Criteria

The technical team will use the following criteria to evaluate the submissions: writing a brief report for each submitter and provide recommendations for each submission to TERSD2026. 

1. Aligned with the conference’s main theme and subthemes

This is the primary criterion for evaluating all submission types. For the main themes and subthemes, please visit https://tersd2026.kusoed.edu.np/conference-themes-2/  on the TERSD 2026 website.

2. The precision of language

Language accuracy is most important. We recommend that you carefully review the submissions in this regard as well.

3. Originality

The main focus of the conference is the originality of the presented ideas. Therefore, we would like you to recommend a review in this regard. We will run the iThenticate application to determine the degree of similarity and the extent of AI usage.

4. Autobiographical expression

The autobiographical voice in a text is an additional aspect that most reviewers examine. In general, the presenter’s tone must reflect the conference’s theme and subthemes.

5. Coherence throughout the texts

Cohesion and consistency are the most important aspects of writing. Additionally, we would like to suggest that you examine these facets carefully.

6. Submission within the permitted word count (2000 words)

In academia, the ability of the presenter to present within the word limit is always a difficult task. However, we expect the presenter, particularly for paper presentations, to limit his or her submission to 10% plus or minus 2000 words. We do not limit other types of submissions to 2,000 words. Even for the shorter abstracts, we can see the possibility and give a provisional acceptance!
